I would love to see soil analysis featured at the expo. Perhaps by having a County Extension drop off or by doing the soil sampling right there at the location. It would be a very wonderful service to have available. I enjoy the variety of vendors at the Expo - This will be my third one. I like finding unusual plants or varieties that I can't find anywhere else. These become highlights of my own garden.

I just returned from the Expo. Very nice event. One of my main reasons for going was to get information on businesses in the North Georgia area where I could purchase plants later as I need them for my yard and garden. I was disappointed to see that hardly any of the vendors had cards, flyers, or brochures with addresses or phone numbers. Most booths had only a name...not even the city in which they are located. Upon looking at the list of vendors on the website, I find the same...just a name...no way to contact the businesses except for a couple that have web sites. Is there possibly a list of addresses for the businesses? One would think that they would welcome the advertisement.

No group does a garden expo better than the Hall County Master Gardeners; bravo!
I was there yesterday and again early this morning (got the poppies this time that I missed yesterday) and missed "the survey lady", so permit me to make the following comments here:
The event was excellent, the venue is perfect for this sort of thing, I bought plants from three different vendors and spent a little more than $20 total, I'll be back in September and will tell all my friends to be there also, plus I will write about it in my gardening column in the Georgia Asian Times, as well as my blog, http://georgiagardener.blogspot.com/
You rock, HCMGs!
